DR. JULIE ROSS

Like many veterinarians, Dr. Julie Ross grew up with a deep love of animals.  From a young age, she knew she wanted a career that included animals.

She graduated with a Zoology degree from Connecticut College and began working as an assistant at a veterinary clinic shortly thereafter.  After a few years working in the field, she applied and was accepted to University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Ross returned to New England after graduation and has practiced veterinary medicine in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for over 14 years.

In 2015, Dr. Ross began the study of TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine).  She earned her certification in acupuncture (CVA) from the Chi Institute in Florida and has continued to study acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Dr. Ross enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but finds the challenges of internal medicine, feline medicine, dermatology, and geriatric medicine to be especially rewarding.  She continues to be amazed by the improvements in many conditions when TCVM is integrated with western medicine.
